Beverly was wrongly accused of stealing from Mr. Van Hoff’s safe after she turned down his son’s approaches that she had previously rebuffed. She came to the conclusion that she would demonstrate her innocence while simultaneously accomplishing her hidden goals.
Beverly was asked by the leering voice, “That is the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen,” and she acknowledged it. As she straightened up and turned around, she was shocked. She had been cleaning the coffee table beforehand.
The person who had spoken to her was Franz, who was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hoff, her employer.
Her heart shook as she recalled the pregnancy test that she had taken at her apartment earlier that morning. Beverly was aware that his motives were nothing but malicious, and she was aware of this fact. She was expecting, and the last thing she wanted was for Franz to touch her. She was expecting baby.
In the midst of her musings, Franz interrupted her by saying, “I adore the sound of’sir’ on your lips.” “I would like to see what else you can do with your lips.”
She responded, “Franz, I’m not interested in that,” and she was right. “I need to get back to work.”
Franz responded, “I don’t think so,” while holding her arm and ignoring her. “I’m not a man that takes rejection well.”
“Let me go,” Beverly said. “I’m ready.” Mrs. Hoff contacted her at that very moment to make plans for a special dinner, and although Beverly would have detested the circumstance on any other day, she was relieved to get the call. However, Franz immediately followed her into the kitchen.

It was an unexpected question that he asked, “When are you going to stop playing hard to get?” This caused her to be startled, and it caused her to drop the pot that she had been frantically cleaning over the sink.
“Wha-what do you want?” she shouted out in despair.
“Ahh, at long last. Franz drawled as he stood closer to her than he should have, “That’s a nice little reaction.”
The sensation of his nose running over her jaw caused her skin to crawl. “Do you see? I am desirable to every single woman. At this point, you should give in and let me to put you over this counter, as I have desired ever since you arrived.
She responded with a hiss, “No, I don’t want that!” as she pushed him away.
“I said I was tired of your games!” While he was staring into her face, Franz let out a snarl. His eyes were dripping with want and rage at the same time. Beverly debated whether or not she should break the news to him that she was expecting a child. Then perhaps he would change his mind. But even at that point, folks like him wouldn’t stop trying.
Due to the fact that she continued to put up a fight against him, Franz screamed a slur at her and then walked out of the kitchen.
Despite the rapidity of her breathing, she was just able to maintain her grip on the counter. She was able to hold back a few tears, but she needed to gather herself.
“Is everything alright, Beverly?” It was Mrs. Hoff who showed up.
The response she gave was, “Yes, of course, Augustine,” as she straightened her posture and straightened her hair. The fact that she addressed her bosses by their names was not a problem for them.
“Are you sure?” Mrs. Hoff inquired after observing her state of health.
As Beverly pondered for a moment, “Well,” she said. “Ma’am, I’m so sorry to say this, but I think Franz has a crush on me.”
She expressed it. In fact, she did. It was too much for her to bear any longer. But she was unable to disclose her pregnancy in a frank manner. The fact that she had opted to teach Franz a lesson while also deceiving the Hoffs would be disastrous for her objectives.
“Oh!” Mrs. Hoff’s laughter became a distraction for her. “My son has many girlfriends, but he would get with the he—I mean, you must’ve misunderstood his intentions.”
In spite of the fact that she was only nodding, Beverly was utterly afraid. It was necessary for her to move slow.
Beverly was able to keep her cool during the process of setting the table for dinner a few days later.
As Mrs. Hoff commended her, the tension that was not uttered continued to exist.
Beverly carried on with her responsibilities while keeping the truth about Franz’s harassment a secret.
Right out of nowhere, Mr. Hoff rushed his wife.
It’s Augustine! Was it you who touched the safe?
The kitchen was where Beverly was able to observe them.
“What is it? In response, Mrs. Hoff stated, “Of course not.”
“Franz?” Mr. Hoff resorted to his son, who denied the allegations that were made against him.
“The money’s gone!” The exclamation came from Mr. Hoff. “Franz, are you sure you didn’t touch anything?”
“I don’t even know the password!” Francis gave a shrug.
“It is clear that someone has broken in. We have to get the police involved!” When Mrs. Hoff reached for the phone, she made a suggestion.
“ARE YOU INSANE?” Mr Hoff raised an objection, and he removed her from Beverly’s line of sight. The situation would only become more dire if the authorities were called, as he had been dodging taxes.
Beverly stepped in to help. “Please excuse me. Augustine, the dinner table is ready. Right now, I’m going to retire to my room. “Just give me a call when you’re free.”
Beverly exited the room following Mrs. Hoff’s acknowledgment of her presence. There was a worry that they were looking for her.
When Beverly entered her room, she witnessed a bag lying on top of her bed. As she opened it, she was perplexed to see that it contained wads of cash.
Immediately, Beverly recognised that this was the money that had been missing. Given that the Hoffs were aware of the situation, it would have been perilous for her to steal it and then vanish without a trace. In light of the fact that she was aware that this was Franz’s doing and that it would get him into a lot of trouble, she hurried to the kitchen where Mr. and Mrs. Hoff were.

As she approached the Hoffs and showed them the bags, she stated, “I discovered this in my room.” “I think Fr—”
“She’s been with us for weeks, and nothing has ever gone missing, Johann!” The statement was made by Mrs. Hoff, but Mr. Hoff urged that Beverly leave, referring to her as a thief instead.
“Depart! ” You need to resign!
“No, thank you very much! Her voice was shaking as she announced, “I am pregnant.”
In a state of astonishment, Mrs. Hoff pulled her hands to her mouth, and Beverly recognised something in the eyes of the more experienced woman. “Yes,” she thought to herself. You are absolutely correct, Mrs. Hoff. It is important that you begin to have suspicions that the child’s father is your nephew. I am aware of you; you will feel sorry for me and compensate me for my lack of speech! That money is what I need before I depart!
However, Beverly’s pleadings were not heard by anyone. As she made her way back to her room, she had just taken off her top. She was thinking that she needed to find a method to convince the Hoffs of her innocence when she was distracted by a voice approaching her.
“Finally, some skin!”
Once he was inside, Franz locked the door to her room.
“Get out!” she yelled at everyone.
“See what happens when you aren’t smart?” He gave a smirk.
The question was posed by Beverly. “Smart?”
“I offered you much better than being a maid, and you rejected me,” Franz shrugged as he stalked towards her. “I offered you a housekeeper.” “So, I had to teach you a little lesson.”
Beverly uttered, “Great,” while clearing her throat. “You were victorious. Permit me to depart at this time.
He shook his finger and said, “Uh-huh,” for emphasis. Would you not like to beg for your job to be reinstated? Or…I have a solution that I could show you. Following the events that have transpired, no one will hire you. I have the ability to compensate you if you become mine. He closed his eyes and placed his face on her neck as he crowned himself. “It wouldn’t be much different from being a maid, except that it will be way more pleasurable, sweaty, and mind-blowing,” he said.
Beverly managed to keep her composure despite the fact that her hands, like they always did, were itching to hit him. What she desired may be obtained through this. As a result, she went for his shoulders and fondled him all the way up to his skull. She exclaimed, “Well, since you put it so nicely,” with the expectation that it would be believable.
“Really?”
“I rejected you before to avoid trouble with your mother, but she’s not my concern anymore,” explained Beverly further. “You are absolutely correct. Getting another job is really unlikely for me. As a result, I will take your offer.
Franz retreated and remarked, “Excellent,” while smiling as if he had triumphed in a poker game while cheating. “Tomorrow, we’ll meet in the city, and I’ll give you a taste of what saying yes to me means.”
“Tomorrow?” A pause was made by Beverly. “Until then, what am I going to do with my time? My home is empty, and I have no money. I urgently require a loan.”
“No,” Franz said, shaking his head and returning to his previous position. No progress made. Upcoming day”
Then, I am truly sorry. Shrugging her shoulders, she went back to getting dressed. “I’ll have to find another wealthy man to help me,” she said. Also, he was a victim of her snare.
Franz grabbed her arm and shouted, “Wait,” before continuing. “All right. Once you have finished packing, I will go get you something before you check out.
Beverly remarked, “You are such a sweetheart.” “I don’t know why I resisted for so long.”
Franz threw a grin. He drawled, “I’m not sweet at all, babe,” and he told her. “I’ll show you that tomorrow.”
Franz exited her room while those words were still lingering in the air. This man is revolting! Her mind raised a scream. First things first: she had to expose Franz and figure out a means to get out of this filthy house before anything else went wrong!
While Beverly was on her tiptoes, she noticed that Mrs. Hoff was leaning on the countertop while holding her head up. The corridor leading to the kitchen was entirely vacant.
Beverly said, “Augustine,” for short.
“What is it? You are prepared, are you? With a worn appearance, Mrs. Hoff rose up and said, “I’ll call you a cab.”
You know that I did not commit the crime, Augustine. Beverly began by saying, “That is the reason why you are being so kind to me.”
I have no idea what’s going on. However, my husband would like for you to depart. I beg you, please don’t make things more difficult.
“It was Franz,” Beverly threw out in a scream. In response to my refusal to accept his advances, he did it. You have no choice but to believe me, Augustine. Despite the fact that he had been groping me and pestering me for some time, I believed that I had made my point clear. He took a step back for a moment before finally admitting that he had committed the crime.
Sadly, Mrs. Hoff shook her head slightly. “Beverly, let it go.”
It’s not! This time, he is going to steal from Mr. Hoff once more. Kindly, Augustine, please. I beg you. “I am not a thief,” she said.
“He’s stealing from his father?” Mrs. Hoff was perplexed and questioned.
It is true. It’s possible that he’s done it before, but he did it again this time in particular.
“What is she still doing here?” While Mr. Hoff was returning to the kitchen, he made a demand.
“One second, Johann!”
Taking her husband aside, Mrs. Hoff carried on a conversation in hushed tones. Before straining his eyes, Mr. Hoff gave a few shakes of his head on multiple occasions. Following a brief glance at Beverly, he reached out and held the hand of his wife.
Let’s go check it out.”
Beverly followed them up the steps, but she stayed many paces behind them because she was running behind them.
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” The startling cry came from Mr. Hoff.
Beverly made a hasty ascent to the upper floor, where she discovered her bosses waiting at the entrance of Mr. Hoff’s office.

“What’s up, honey? Trying to prevent her husband from doing something, Mrs. Hoff pleaded with him to “calm down,” but her husband was determined to do something. Both of them proceeded to move further into the room, and Beverly felt a sense of satisfaction as she observed Franz kneeling in front of the safe while holding a multitude of cash.
“Dad! ” Hold on. The spoiled boy jumped up, and his eyes blazed at Beverly before turning scared as they gazed at his father once more. “It’s not what you think!” he exclaimed.
Weeping into her hands, Mrs. Hoff began to shed tears. Even though Beverly believed that being vindicated would make her feel better, she continued to be afraid.
“Dad! ” I swore to myself that it was a misunderstanding.
“Get out of my house,” Mr. Hoff said after a lengthy lull in the conversation. He had returned to his natural voice, but this only served to make everything appear even more terrifying.
Franz shook his head and scoffed at the idea. “You’re not serious.”
After that, his father said, “Get out of here before I decide to call the police.”
It is not possible. You are far too terrified.
“Try me,” Mr. Hoff urged the audience. Despite the fact that Beverly was unable to see from her vantage point, Franz recoiled in response to the grimace that was on his father’s face.
He returned the pile of money with a hand that was shaking, and then he marched out of the room by himself. The sound of Mrs. Hoff’s sobbing went on and on. While on his knees, her husband placed the money into the safe and then closed it. It produced a sound that was electronic.
Following that, Mr. Hoff went up to her. “Is there any possibility that you might possibly stay with us, Beverly? After everything that has happened? With a worn expression on his face, the wealthy guy stated, “I apologise for my outburst and what my son did.” His entire body had lost all of its vitality.
Her time had finally come. “I’m sorry I can’t work for you any longer,” Beverly whispered with apologies as she touched her stomach. Because of my pride, I would never do it. However, there is something that I require you to finish for me. I beg you.”
“Of course, my sweetheart. It could be anything,” Mrs. Hoff replied, feeling ashamed by the behaviour of her son.
Carrying a large amount of cash in her suitcase, Beverly exited the home that belonged to the Hoffs. While she was scoffing at the ease with which she handled them, she went back and took a look at the extravagant edifice. Another one of her naive customers who was fooled by her apparent lack of guilt! They were filled with regret when they found out that she was expecting a child. How much money had they paid her?
Mrs. Hoff had a sneaking suspicion that their darling son was not the father, and she paid Beverly additional money in a covert manner to guarantee that their reputation would not be ruined. To their surprise, the Hoffs were unaware of this secret.
Beverly walked away, imagining Franz living on the streets and a lovely new flat with a quaint little nursery for her child. She was thinking while she was walking. She mumbled to herself, “Two birds with one stone,” and grinned brightly to herself.
